Let's be honest, the late nineties provided some of the greatest rom-coms in the history of cinema (as did the whole of the 80's). One of these lovely gems is the Drew Barrymore film "Never Been Kissed." When I first saw this film, I was a young teen and could relate to the title and some of what the main character had gone through in high school. If you've never seen the film, it is about a twenty-five year-old who gets her first shot a being a reporter, instead of just a copy editor, by going undercover as a high school student and trying to discover what life is like for these teens by living amongst them. Her time in high school was not very pleasant, so this is her second chance. If that doesn't make you want to watch it then I'll throw in you get to see a slightly inappropriate relationship develop between the main character and her teacher (remember, she's pretending to be seventeen). You also get a lovely collection of characters the cover different stereotypical high school characters. There are also lovely 80's flashbacks with Madonna music. There, now you have to watch it. If you've already seen it, it's time to re-watch.
